Privacy Policy.
1. Introduction
Survey Enrollment LLC (DBA “Collegiate Survey Enrollment”, “CS Enrollment,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a higher education enrollment marketing firm. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our website (www.csenrollment.com), our direct marketing and outreach activities, and our managed campaign services for institutional clients.
Our communications and outreach may occur across multiple channels, including email, SMS/MMS text messaging, RCS/RBM business messaging, telephone, and other digital channels as available. This Policy applies to all such channels.
By visiting our website, submitting information to us, or engaging with us through any communications channel, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
2. Scope: Two Distinct Data Contexts
CS Enrollment processes personal data in two separate and operationally distinct contexts:
(A) CS Enrollment Prospect Data — Information about higher education professionals and potential business partners collected by CS Enrollment for its own sales and marketing purposes. This data is subject to the full terms of this Policy.
(B) Client Campaign Data — Personal information (typically prospective student and related records) provided by or collected on behalf of institutional clients under a written services agreement. This data is processed solely to execute contracted enrollment campaigns. CS Enrollment does not use Client Campaign Data for its own marketing purposes (except with permission upon request to use aggregated outcome metrics), does not contact individuals in Client Campaign Data on its own behalf, and treats all such data as strictly confidential.
3. Data CS Enrollment Collects (Context A — Prospects)
We may collect the following categories of information about higher education professionals:
- Name and professional title
- Institutional affiliation and business contact information, including email address and phone number
- LinkedIn profile URL or other public professional identifiers
- Website usage data (pages viewed, time on site, referral source) via standard analytics
- Messages and responses received through any communications channel we operate
- Consent records, including opt-in timestamps, channel, and opt-out requests
We collect this information through website forms, direct outreach and referrals, public professional directories, trade conferences, and inbound messages initiated by you.
4. How We Use Your Information (Context A)
CS Enrollment uses professional contact data to:
- Market our enrollment marketing services directly to higher education professionals via email, SMS/MMS, RCS/RBM messaging, telephone, and other communications channels
- Demonstrate our messaging and campaign capabilities to prospective clients
- Schedule and conduct sales conversations
- Improve our services and website
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use professional prospect data to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Communications Channels and Consent
CS Enrollment may communicate with professionals through the following channels. Separate consent is obtained for each channel where required by law.
5.1 Email
We may send commercial email to higher education professionals who have opted in or with whom we have a legitimate business interest as permitted by the CAN-SPAM Act. Each commercial email will include a clear sender identification, accurate subject line, physical address, and a one-click unsubscribe mechanism. Opt-out requests will be honored within 10 business days.
5.2 SMS/MMS Text Messaging (10DLC)
CS Enrollment may send SMS or MMS messages through registered 10-digit long code (10DLC) numbers to individuals who have provided express written consent. By opting into our SMS program, you agree to receive text messages from CS Enrollment related to our services, event invitations, and follow-up communications.
- Opt-In: Consent may be provided via website form, written agreement, or by texting a designated keyword to a CS Enrollment number
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your engagement and stage of conversation. You will not receive high-volume automated blasts without prior notice
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe. You may also reply HELP for assistance
- Msg & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
- No mobile information (including opt-in data) is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes
5.3 RCS/RBM Business Messaging
CS Enrollment operates an RCS Business Messaging (RBM) agent for use on compatible devices. The agent is used to demonstrate our services and to communicate with opted-in professionals.
- Opt-In: CS Enrollment will only send proactive RCS messages to individuals who have provided express prior consent
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP at any time to opt out of RCS messages. Reply HELP for assistance
- Message and data rates from your carrier may apply
5.4 Other Channels
CS Enrollment may also communicate via telephone, voicemail, social messaging platforms, or other digital channels that emerge. We will obtain any consent required by applicable law prior to initiating contact through such channels. Opt-out requests through any channel will be honored promptly.
Opting out of one channel does not automatically opt you out of all channels. You may manage your preferences for each channel separately by contacting us at [email protected].
6. How We Disclose Information
CS Enrollment does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share data as follows:
- Service Providers: With vendors who support our operations (CRM, email delivery, SMS/messaging infrastructure, analytics), under confidentiality obligations and only to the extent necessary to perform services on our behalf
- No Third-Party Marketing Sharing: Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes
- Legal Compliance: When required by applicable law, court order, or government authority
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections
Client Campaign Data (Context B) is never disclosed to any party other than the institutional client on whose behalf it was provided, except as required by law.
7. Data Retention
We retain professional prospect data for as long as necessary to support an active or potential business relationship, or as required by law. Opt-out and suppression records are retained indefinitely to honor unsubscribe requests. You may request deletion of other data at any time (see Section 9).
Client Campaign Data is retained only for the duration of the applicable services agreement, unless the client requests earlier deletion or longer retention in writing.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
